Overview:

Stranded With Billy is an animated series following Mippit, a young alien stranded on an unknown planet due to the negligence of their parent’s coworker.

Originally an animated short film, the project evolved and expanded into an idea for an animated series, leading to the creation and release of a proof of concept animatic.

Synopsis: Stranded on an alien planet, a junior space explorer records a transmission requesting for help while recounting their experience.

Animatic Pilot

Synopsis: Stranded on an unknown planet due to the negligence of their parent’s coworker, a young alien meets some interesting creatures.

The Characters

Mippit

Bubbly and rambunctious, Mippit's the child of the oh-so-awesome Captain Crolux! Their enthusiasm and drive to be a legendary explorer just like Crolux, combined with their naivety is often the catalyst for many misadventures.

Billy

Not much is known about this strange creature or where it came from... But, when you become friends with Mippit that doesn't matter! Surely Billy's just a little guy helping Mippit from the kindness of it's heart! ... Right?

Nym

Being the dedicated worker they are, Nym takes their position as the Second Officer of the Hub Ship very seriously. While their work ethic is commendable, their social skills seem to need work. It's no wonder why they have a track record of transferring ships.

Crolux

As a legendary explorer and hero among their kind, one might think that Crolux loves and is dedicated to their job. However, this could not be further from the truth. While Crolux does enjoy exploring the cosmos, its no fun when you're pressured into doing it, especially when it prevents you from being with your kid.

King Jellie

Eccentric and melodramatic, this Jelly is surely one-of-a-kind! Dawning a crown, he calls himself a king. However, it's debatable on whether or not this is actually true. Is he's simply the king because he wears a crown and can speak, or is there something more going on behind the scenes?
